This Lagonda 4 1/2 Litre M45 T9 Tourer was first registered in March 1934 as a Pillar Saloon, M45/ST34. By the 1960’s it was resting in Ivan Forshaw’s yard where it stayed for the next 25 years.

In the mid 1980’s the Lagonda was rescued from Forshaw’s yard. The chassis was restored and shortened to M45R spec.

This Lagonda features in the Bernd Holthusen Lagonda book page 260 as a restoration project.

Peter Golding bought the restored rolling chassis and finished the restoration to include an original M45 Rapide T9 Coachwork which was removed from a 3 Litre Bentley.

A great combination with short M45 chassis and totally original Rapide coach work.
