GY 7850 8 Litre Bentley Restoration - Originally an H.J Mulliner Limousine
A tremendous 8 litre Bentley Gurney Nutting 2 door sports saloon. We really enjoyed this 8 Litre Bentley Restoration. It had spent most of its life as a cut and shut special. By the 1950’s it had been cut and shut with a very basic 2 seater body and super charged. Raced by R. Cooper and Peter Morley – “The fastest 8 Litre he every drove”. Later owned by Keith Schellenberg who rebuilt it to do London Sydney in 1969 and the World Cup Rally in 1971. He also used it to tow the Barnato Hassan to race meetings.
In 2015 it had a new owner. As part of this 8 Litre Bentley Restoration we completely rebuilt it with a new two door sport saloon Gurney Nutting coach work. All fixtures and fittings are original.
